Passport Goes Mobile

Well, the first full week of the school year (for most schools) has come to an end!

I’m sure you all feel like you’ve been back forever, and have all settled back into the routines and rhythms of teaching – with all that they bring.

We certainly feel that way! Now that you’re back at school, we get busy- booking and delivering teacher PD sessions, incursions and, of course, providing ongoing support as you run the Passport to Democracy program in your classrooms.

Not that we haven’t been busy in the break- we’ve been preparing for 2019 and have some exciting things in the pipeline- including a review of the Passport to Democracy program to ensure that it’s working for you and meeting our goals of creating a more civically literate generation who vote (or intend to!), remain engaged between elections, and actively participate as citizens in their democracy.

One of the exciting new developments that we’re announcing in 2019 aims to make our programs even more accessible and engaging! We have recently made our website super accessible, so it can be easily used on handheld devices including smart phones and tablets. We would love you to check it out and let us know how you might use this new functionality in your one-to-one classrooms. We’d also love you to fill out our website survey! We’ve had a few people provide us with feedback, but we need as much information as possible to adequately inform the review process – so the more the merrier!

Click on the following link to take the survey- it takes less than 5 minutes to complete!

As always, thank you for reading – and we look forward to your feedback!
